What Makes This Cuticle Oil Different?

Cuticle oil made only with ingredients that are actually good for you and your nails — organic almond, coconut, and vitamin E oils, with CPTG® lemongrass, eucalyptus, clove, myrrh, jasmine, tea tree, and lavender essential oils.

As a Breast Cancer Survivor, my life has changed my life in so many ways. It changed not only the way I live each day, but it also gave me a different view about what I was using in and on my body. I discovered there were very few ingredients that the FDA banned in products that go ON our bodies, specifically 30. As a comparison, Europe bans1,500.

No Regulations

This was shocking to me. I also learned there are NO regulations regarding Essential Oils. Therefore, they are NOT all created equal! The products you see at many grocery, online, and discount stores that are labeled "all natural" and "pure" Essential Oil can often be deceiving. If there is a single drop of a pure essential oil in there, the claim slips through. Unfortunately, the rest of the ingredients are often the cheapest fillers, synthetic ingredients, or added toxic fragrances. This places the burden of deciphering to the consumer. You do need to be very careful about choosing the products and ingredients when it comes to your body. Remember our skin is the largest organ in our bodies.

Knowing Ingredients and Their Origins

Knowing what I know about ingredients standards, I could not find a cuticle oil on the market that met my standards to put my name behind. So, I developed my own — using only my favorite organic oils, as well as what I considered to be the best quality Essential Oils that are on the market — CPTG® Essential Oils. Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade Oils that are 3rd parity tested. They come from the farms where they are indigenously grown. The company I use partners with these farmers, helping them thrive, while ensuring the highest quality oils are created from these plants. Every bottle of oil can be traced to harvest and distillation. This ensures that everything in With Angel Love Cuticle Oil™ is truly good for you and your nails.

So, What's in With Angel Love™ and Why?

The Essential Oils I have chosen are some of my favorites, are great for healthy nails, and some are for their sanitation properties. All in all, every ingredient in With Angel Love Cuticle Oil™ has been thoughtfully chosen and thoroughly researched. The applicator pen also delivers the perfect amount of oil without any mess or waste.

Organic Almond Oil

Almond oil helps to naturally restore nail health. Rich in essential antioxidants, Omega 6 and 9 fatty acids and vitamins E, A, B1, B2, and B6, Almond oil coats the nails with rich nutrients that protect them from peeling, cracking, dryness and breakage.

Organic Coconut Oil

Coconut oil which is not only incredibly hydrating to your skin, but will also hydrate and strengthen your nails. Because of its moisturizing properties it helps to treat brittle and cracked nails and damaged cuticles. When your nails are hydrated and moisturized your nails will have what they need to grow quicker, and helps your beautiful manicures to last longer!

Organic Vitamin E

(d-alpha tocopherol)

The one I use is 100% pure derived from non-GMO organic olives. Using a unique distillation and extraction process the Vitamin E is extracted from olives. The result is a Natural Vitamin E Oil that is 100% pure, less sticky, faster absorbed, nearly clear in color and more bioavailable.  Vitamin E is incredibly hydrating and moisturizing and penetrates deep into the nail plate healing it and the skin around it. This allows for your nails to be moisturized and healthy. Also a powerful antioxidant that fights inflammation and neutralizes the effects of free radicals.

Lemongrass

(Cymbopogon Flexuosus)

This is one of my favorites! First love the smell, but this Essential Oil is another powerful antioxidant that fights inflammation and to neutralizes damaging free radicals but contains anti fungal, anti septic and anti inflammatory properties.  It improves blood circulation. It also works against the growth of fungal infections and formation of candida on hair skin and nails.

Lavender

(Lavendula Augustofolia)

When used on the nails, it penetrates deeply moisturizing the nail plate and promote Keratin growth for stronger nails.  This oil comes with rich anti microbial properties to protect from bacteria and fungus. Helping to keep your nails healthy.

Eucalyptus

(Eucalyptus Radiata)

A powerful natural anti fungal. This oil boosts healthy nails growth and prevents the cuticles from getting infected.

Tea Tree

(Melaleuca)

The primary purpose of this oil is for its anti bacterial and anti fungal properties. It helps to keep your nails clean, and free from bacteria and fungus It can also improve the appearance of discoloration while also conditioning the nail and cuticle.

Myrrh

(Comminphora Myrrha)

One of the Gifts from the 3 wise men. I believe this is one of the best Essential Oils. Especially over all for the nails and nail growth. It moisturizes deeply and helps fingernails from becoming brittle, thin and breaking, and helps with skin rejuvenation. It also keeps the cuticles moisturized, providing a healthy environment for the the nails to grow.

Clove

(Eugenia Caryophyllata)

I know your thinking...Clove?  Well its actually a fabulous oil for nail health!  Another anti fungus oil. It is rich in nutrients that promote the repair function of the nails allowing the nails to return to a smooth and shiny appearance. It can help for discoloration, brittle or split nails. It can help to to heal Onychomycosis, which is separation of the nail from the plate and to restore healthy nails. Also can help with cracked, split, brittle nails and discoloration.

Jasmine

(Jasminum Grandiflorum)

Is a fantastic oil that contains antioxidants protecting skin from free radicals, encourages the regeneration of skin cells, repairs brittle nails and keeps cuticles soft. It even gives your nails a beautiful healthy radiance!

FINAL THOUGHTS ON NAIL CARE

Your nails can be an indicator or illness or deficiencies. If you notice any changes in your nails or the appearance of them, you may want to talk to your doctor, as they can be signs that something is not right elsewhere in your body. It can be as simple as a vitamin deficiency or something more serious. Don't ignore it!

There are certain habits that can be detrimental to the growth and appearance of your nails.    Things such as tapping fingernails repetitively, biting your nails or cuticles and one of the worst offenders using your nails as tools. All of these things can damage your nails and therefore effecting the appearance of them.

Your nails, although they are technically keratin absorb chemicals. Make sure when cleaning or using any type of chemicals that your wearing gloves to protect them. This includes washing your dishes. Warm water and soap can actually weaken and dry your nails and cuticles out.

Application

Application Tips

• For first use, twist the base of the applicator approximately 13 half twists, until you see a small bead of oil appear in the bristles — this means you are ready to go.

• Brush around and over the cuticle and then under the nail tip, otherwise known as the free edge. That's all the live tissue underneath called the hyponychium. Once applied, gently massage the cuticle oil into the cuticle and nail, including the area of skin over the base of your nail (toward the knuckle). This is actually where your nail grows from, called the Matri

• Apply at least twice a day for best results. If you are dealing with a condition or are looking for growth, increase application to every few hours.

• Apply cuticle oil after your nail service or polish. Do NOT do it just before. Oil on the nail plate can prevent polish from adhering properly. Because it is applied with a brush, wait until your polish is set/dry/cured before you apply.

• Apply at bedtime. This is the best time to allow for the cuticle oil to really penetrate into the  cuticle and nail plate. Keep a pen at your bedside. If you see it, you'll remember to do it.

• Don’t forget your toes! They will also love the cuticle oil.

• Keep a pen in your purse, night table, and car. They are easy to bring with you anywhere. The easier you make it, the more you will use it!
